About the webinar

Fathers raising children with special needs often face immense emotional and psychological pressure, yet their crucial role and struggles are frequently neglected in support services. This essential webinar offers practitioners an eye-opening, research-based perspective on the complex moral and emotional experiences of father caregivers.

Dr Kai Chung Lo presents key findings from his groundbreaking research, exploring the hidden struggles of these fathers, particularly the deep-seated feelings of shame, guilt, and avoidance behaviours influenced by societal norms. This insightful training provides a crucial understanding of how these emotions impact both the father’s wellbeing and their child’s development, ensuring you can deliver tailored intervention.

Secure your registration to gain specialist insights into father caregiver psychology, enabling you to challenge patriarchal norms and enhance intervention strategies to better support the unique needs of these fathers and their families.
