Clinical Supervision is a process that supports you as a practitioner to provide a better, more confident and creative service to your clients.

It will enable you to extend yourself with your practice, or qualify for practice, by providing:

  • support to enhance your skills, competence, and confidence
  • a reflective space and emotional support
  • assistance with professional development
  • guidance on delivering services to clients safely and ethically
  • information on professional and organisational standards, ethics, and legal issues in practice

Delivery modes and settings

We provide flexible supervision options:

  • one-to-one, in-person supervision.Available in a private setting or within your organisation.
  • in-person group supervision.Ideal for workplaces or organisations
  • e-supervision, provided conveniently online via video-conferencing or over the telephone.

The format of supervision can be adapted to meet your specific needs. We also offer group supervision for organisations or teams working in related industries.

Lilia Szarski

Lilia Szarski

Qualified and accredited Clinical Supervisor, experienced FDRP and Child Consultant

Lilia Szarski is an accomplished psychologist with a Master of Education and Psychology, bringing extensive experience in family law. She is an accredited supervisor with the Australian Psychological Society and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Lilia's expertise spans dispute resolution in both family and financial matters. She is accredited as a mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS) and is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) registered with the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department.

Notably, Lilia recently served as the Mediation Representative on the Family Court of Australia’s Chief Justice’s committee, contributing to responses to parliamentary inquiries into the operation of the Family Law Act 1992 and 2003. Throughout her career, she has been a registered supervisor across these fields of practice, training and supervising many emerging psychologists, FDRPs, and family consultants.

Astrid Horter

Astrid Horter

Experienced FDRP, Child Consultant, and Supervisor

Astrid Horter brings a wealth of qualifications and professional experience in both law and psychology. For 20 years, she has been a practising mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, and child consultant. Astrid is accredited as a mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation System and is an accredited FDRP with the Attorney-General’s Department.

Currently, she serves as the Program Leader for FDR and mediation training at RAV. Since 2009, Astrid has been dedicated to training new practitioners and emerging FDRPs. She has also successfully managed and supervised FDRPs, counsellors, child counsellors, and senior practitioners across various community sector settings.
