Maximise the impact of every client interaction

Single Session Thinking (SST) challenges practitioners to treat each encounter as potentially the most important. By focusing on client priorities, immediate needs, and achievable goals, practitioners can create therapeutic impact within limited timeframes. This workshop equips you with the knowledge and skills to integrate SST into your online therapeutic work, whether supporting individuals, couples, or families. You’ll gain insights into how to maximise client outcomes while ensuring sessions remain ethical, structured, and client‑centred.

  • Counsellors, psychologists, and social workers
  • Family therapists and youth practitioners
  • Clinicians and community workers in mental health, health, or support services
  • Professionals providing support sessions online, including brief or crisis interventions

About the presenters

Jeff Roberts is a clinical psychologist with more than 15 years’ experience in counselling and mental health, both in Australia and internationally. He specialises in men’s health and has significant experience working with LGBTIQA+ communities, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, and sexual health. Jeff is also skilled in psychometric assessment, coaching, and leadership development, bringing a broad range of clinical and practical expertise to his training sessions.

When you register, you will be directed to our secure payment gateway to complete your enrolment. A Moodle account (our Learning Management System) will be created, giving you access to workshop details, materials, and attendance links.

Please note:

  • Registrations close 48 hours before the scheduled workshop
  • Payment must be received at least 2 business days prior to the event
  • For invoice payments, proof of remittance must be provided at least 24 hours before the session
