This online workshop is designed to help new and emerging leaders in the community services sector step confidently into leadership roles and inspire those around them. You will build practical leadership skills, strengthen your confidence, and learn how to manage the challenges that naturally come with leadership positions.

With a 360-degree perspective on leadership, the training equips you with tools to navigate relationships across all levels — with your manager, your team, and your organisation — to ensure you lead effectively and with impact.

About the presenters

Astrid Horter is the program leader for learning delivery at the Centre of Learning and Innovation. She holds tertiary qualifications in law and psychology and is an experienced Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), mediator and child consultant. Astrid leads the delivery of RAV’s accredited training programs, provides supervision to external organisations and designs and facilitates customised workshops. She has extensive experience working in community organisations as a clinical supervisor, trainer and manager.

Cath Tregillis is a highly experienced FDRP qualified in dispute resolution and family therapy. She has held diverse roles across community organisations as a manager, clinical supervisor, and trainer, providing mediation and restorative processes in family, community, and workplace settings. Cath is currently a trainer and assessor within the Centre of Learning and Innovation’s FDR and mediation training programs.

Enrolment and course access

• Registrations close 48 hours before the event.
• Workshops must be paid in full at least 2 business days before the training date to confirm your place.
• If paying by invoice, proof of payment must be provided at least 24 hours before the session.
